Mr Cerda leverages his skills combined with fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese to relate to an international clientele and team members.

Mr. Cerda has followed a philosophy that no single approach works for everyone, and that his team members are his most important asset. Mr. Cerda has made it a point to continue his education on management techniques, communication and psychological understanding to the benefit of both clients and internal team members.

Key areas of competency are revenue growth, cost management, auditing, relationship development, front facing client relations and back of house team interactions, establishing team goal alignment and adherence to critical deadlines.

Prior to his career in hospitality Mr. Cerda began his career in customer service as a member of world-class ski schools, dealing with an elite and discerning clientele, as an accomplished instructor and trusted leader. Prior to this, Mr. Cerda competed at the highest levels of competitive downhill skiing. Mr. Cerda understands the value of discipline, structure and process along with the pressure of competition.

Mr. Cerda is a native of Chile, where he lived until he was 26 years old.

Mr. Cerda received his education at Instituto Superior de Comercio with a Master’s in Accounting. He is also a certified Ski Instructor in Chile under ISIA and in the USA under PSIA.
